When ESS receives your instrument:

  1. We will FAX you an itemized list of repairs needed and the repair cost
  2. We will provide you with the repair turnaround time
  3. We will advise you on the best course of action to take with your instrument

Sending ESS® your instrument

Before you send us your instrument, download an print this Adobe Acrobat PDF of our "Speed-Up" Repair Form, and fill it in with your information and a description of the problem you're having with your instrument:

Once you've completed the repair form as best as you can, package it with your instrument in a well padded and securely taped box and ship it to ESS, Inc. via UPS or FedEx to this address:

NOTE: When sending your instrument, please use one of the major parcel carriers such as UPS or FedEx, and be sure to add insurance in case of any damages that might occur during shipping.

Preventative Maintenance

Many damages to endoscopes happen due to poor care of the instrument.  ESS® sells many fine cleaning and maintenance tools you can use to help insure your endoscope gives you many years of trouble-free use.

Here are some helpful tips:

  • Always leak test your instrument both before and after every procedure.
  • If your endoscope fails a leakage test, KEEP IT AWAY FROM LIQUIDS! Fluid invasion inside the endoscope is the most common, most destructive and most preventable damage that can happen to your endoscope.  Send ESS the endoscope immediately for repair.
  • Always keep your instrument clean and free of body cavity fluids & excretions.  Check your user manual for the cleaning methods and materials you need to properly clean your instrument after your procedures. 

Endoscopy Support Services Inc. offers endoscope repair performed by factory-trained technicians for all makes and models including the Olympus® 10-Series and Pre-OES. Our service includes video cameras, couplers, printers and light sources as well as forceps and medical accessories. We offer same-day service for most minor endoscope equipment repairs and we have substantial savings on every endoscope repair.
